Training by DINO technicians
For safe and efficient operation of your unit, we offer hands-on training delivered directly by our experienced DINO technicians. The training is aimed at operators, maintenance staff and technical personnel and is tailored individually to the relevant unit and area of application.
As part of the training, participants receive a detailed introduction to operating the unit. This includes, among other things, the basic principle of operation, handling, important safety instructions and guidance on day-to-day handling of the steam generator.
On request, we also offer additional training on maintenance work. This is particularly suitable for plant builders and their end customers, where the DINO steam generator is integrated as a component within a larger overall system. This ensures that the eventual operator's personnel are also familiar with the relevant operating and maintenance steps.
All trained staff receive a certificate of attendance following the training.
We are also happy to deliver the training in English or Polish.
What your own technicians can do without us
As with any technical equipment, regular maintenance and care of the electric steam generator is essential to ensure its longevity and optimal performance. Below, we give you a brief overview of the measures you can carry out even without our technical staff:
Visual inspection
Check for visible damage to cables, hoses and connections. Inspect the unit for signs of corrosion, cracks or leaks.
Function test
Controls
Make sure all indicator lights and displays are working correctly. Test the controls and check that the steam generator is operating as intended. Further details can be found in the supplied operating manual or in your customer portal.
Cables and connectors
Check all cables and connectors for wear or damage. Loose or damaged cables can be a safety hazard and impair the function of the unit.
Control cabinet
Check the steam generator's control cabinet for signs of overheating or damage. This also includes checking the ventilation or cooling function. Especially in dusty environments, the control cabinet fan filters need to be replaced at shorter intervals to continue ensuring reliable cooling.
Safety measures
Switching off when not in use
Switch off the steam generator when it is not in use, to save energy and protect the unit.
Emergency measures
Make sure all users of the steam generator are informed about the emergency shutdown and basic safety measures. Our technicians are also happy to give your staff a brief training session as part of commissioning.
Cleaning the unit
Descaling
Depending on water hardness, limescale build-up is a common issue with steam generators. Descale the unit regularly to maintain its efficiency. Use a suitable descaling agent such as vinegar or citric acid. You can get the right cleaning agent from us — just get in touch.
Surface cleaning
Wipe the outer surfaces of the steam generator with a damp cloth. Avoid using aggressive cleaning agents that could damage the surfaces.
Why we understand maintenance so well
- Experienced DINO technicians: Our service technicians know DINO steam generators inside out, as many of them previously worked in production themselves. This means they carry out maintenance work correctly and with a practical, hands-on approach.
- First-hand manufacturer expertise: As the manufacturer of the units, we have the technical know-how to reliably assess condition, function and potential wear points. We deliberately employ only our own staff, who have completed our internal training.
- Early detection of wear: Our technicians inspect the relevant components and can identify early signs of wear, leaks or deviations in function.
- Direct access to the right spare parts: Thanks to our experience with our own units, the spare and wear parts required can be identified precisely and made available promptly.
- Practical guidance for operation: Alongside maintenance, our technicians provide recommendations where needed on day-to-day handling of the unit, operation and preventive upkeep.
- Traceable documentation: All work carried out is documented digitally, so the condition of the unit and the measures taken remain transparent and traceable.
- Long-term support: Our maintenance service is not designed for a single visit alone, but supports the reliable operation of the unit throughout its entire life cycle. Wherever possible, we make sure you are assigned a dedicated technician who knows your operating procedures and your operating staff.
