Water Treatment
Water treatment systems deliver consistently high steam quality and extend the service life of your equipment. From softening and reverse osmosis through to combined systems.
Water Softening Systems
Reduces water hardness and protects against limescale deposits (recommended from a water hardness above 3° dH).
View softening systems
Reverse Osmosis Systems
Additionally reduces dissolved salts and markedly improves feedwater quality (a prerequisite for clean steam generation)
View reverse osmosis
Combined Systems
Combines softening and reverse osmosis in a single compact, space-saving unit.

The right water quality is decisive for the reliable operation of a steam generator. Depending on the region, mains water ("raw water") contains minerals, hardness-forming ions and salts that can form deposits inside the steam generator. Without suitable water treatment, the result can be limescale layers, higher energy losses, corrosion and increased maintenance effort.
Steam generators should therefore only be operated with properly treated water. Water treatment protects the heating surfaces, improves heat transfer and contributes to efficient, long-lasting plant operation.
We offer different solutions to suit the application:
- Softening system: Reduces water hardness and protects against limescale deposits (recommended from a water hardness above 3° dH).
- Softening with reverse osmosis: Additionally reduces dissolved salts and markedly improves feedwater quality (a prerequisite for clean steam generation)
- Combined system: Combines softening and reverse osmosis in a single compact, space-saving unit.
Which solution is suitable depends on the raw water quality, the steam output and how intensively the plant is operated. We size the water treatment to match your steam generator and your application.
