Frequently asked questions about the DINO HAY STEAMER

Which type of forage is steaming suitable for?

With the DINO HAY STEAMER you can steam both hay and straw effectively.

What water quality should be used?

The DINO HAY STEAMER has an integrated water softening system. You can therefore connect the unit to your drinking water supply without any problem. We advise against using well water or similar.

What do I need in place to use the DINO HAY STEAMER on my yard?

The DINO HAY STEAMER only needs a fresh water supply (a connection to your mains water) and a three-phase power connection with a connected load of 19 kW. That corresponds to a CEE 32A plug.

Can I also connect the DINO HAY STEAMER via a CEE 16A plug?

Yes, that is possible. We are happy to configure the unit for a lower connected load. Under those conditions, however, using 4 steam lances at the same time can no longer be guaranteed, or the steaming time increases.

Can the DINO HAY STEAMER also stand outdoors during the winter months?

Yes, the unit has an integrated frost monitor. This ensures that no frost damage occurs to the unit.
